JSim Golf Tournament
This past weekend my brother, two friends and I played in the 6th annual Jonathan Sim Legacy School golf tournament. We were determined to place in top three this year especially with our secret weapon Melvin who has been playing weekly earning his PGA instructor card. Although we all played well we came short of winning by about 5 or 6 strokes. Perhaps by the 10th tournament we'll make it into the top three. One redeeming part of the tournament aside from helping an amazing organization was that my friends pitched in to sponsor a hole for my birthday. Thank you friends!
Franklin Falls
Already August and I realize I have not driven east on I-90 to stomp on some nature. So the family woke up this morning, picked up uncle Charles and headed towards Franklin Falls. The sky threatened rain but we were determined to see some trees, breathe in some fresh air and watch some water falling into a river. Despite the rain pouring down on our way back to the car the trip was a success. It was also J's first day hike and he was a trooper. I can't wait to go on more of these hikes with him as we both grow older.
